COMMA, Gallery’s focus is Contemporary Millennium Art.

It features gallery exhibits, with art for sale by nationally known museum quality artists many of whom are from Florida. COMMA’s has created coalitions to serve fine visual artists, arts organizations and galleries in Orlando, Central Florida and throughout the country. With a staff of six, COMMA is actively engaged in bringing the highest quality artists to the public’s attention. COMMA’s exhibits have included: Anna Tomczak, Grady Kimsey, Kent Sullivan, Duncan McClennan, Nancy Jay, Tom Sadler and others. Artists have commented that they…“appreciate COMMA’s staff valuing them as people and not as inventory.”

COMMA is the anchor gallery to the 6:30-9pm 2nd Tuesday, Monthly Uptown Arts Corridor Gallery Walk, open house and artist receptions. Currently there are five art venues participating with more venues in the works.

Artists scheduled for 2006 include: Mary Segal, Randall Smith, Four Puerto Rican Surrealists and many others.

COMMA through its affiliate Fine Arts Management provides services art leasing and art sales to Collectors, corporate buyers, Designers, and architects.

COMMA Studio space provides:
· an arts incubator for fine artists, including studio and workshop space;
· education of the general public regarding the nature and diversity of art mediums as well as the intrinsic value of the visual arts to society;
· advocacy of visual arts issues for artists and the arts community;
· professional and educational services for artists and the arts community;

COMMA services include:

News: serving as adjunct public relations for artists, arts organizations and galleries by promoting programs and exhibitions especially to the cultural tourism market.
Slide Registry: Through Fine Arts Management, COMMA’s slide registry is used as an artist promotion tool and is shown to collectors and other galleries, Museums, dealers, curators, art reps, and publishers.
On Line Collaborations: promotion of art through web presence and linkage.
Workshops, Lectures and Meetings: programs with subjects on: (i) innovations in materials, health and hazards, use of art mediums and new techniques, (ii) artists rights, taxes, copyrights, contracts, grants, and (iii) marketing, publicity, advocacy, and other relevant issues.
COMMA’s alternative art space is also be available to host other not for profit organization’s meetings and fundraising programs.
