THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR is exactly that...a spectacular. A cast and crew of nearly 100 people will premiere in Orlando this season to deliver a holiday show experience like never before. THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR is sure to give audiences holiday memories to last a lifetime. Children of all ages will be enchanted by live holiday entertainment as teddy bears dance, wooden soldiers come to life, snowmen shimmy, reindeer fly, elves rap and the Radio City Rockettes perform their fancy footwork and eye-high kicks. The New York Times says, "Brilliant! It lifts the spirit and spreads warmth, joy and good will!" Radio City brings Christmas to life December 9 - 31, 2005.

Five-time Grammy winner Billy Joel and legendary director/choreographer Twyla Tharp have joined forces to create the spectacular new musical Time Magazine declares "The #1 show of the year!" The New York Times calls MOVIN' OUT "a shimmering portrait of an American generation. These tornado driven dancers and rock musicians propel the audience into delirious ovations." MOVIN' OUT brings 24 Billy Joel classics to electrifying new life as it tells the story of five life-long friends over two turbulent decades. It all adds up to one unforgettable Broadway musical. MOVIN’ OUT moves into the Carr Performing Arts Centre February 21 – 26, 2006.

East meets West in THE KING AND I, the timeless love story between a stubborn, autocratic king and a determined governess. Based on the real life adventures of the English widow Anna Leonowens, and the best-selling novel, ANNA AND THE KING OF SIAM by Margaret Landon, THE KING AND I is a fascinating tale about a clash of customs. Over time the governess earns the admiration of the royal family, and eventually she wins the respect of the king himself. Despite their many differences, Anna and The King of Siam fall in love. Set in the 1860’s in Bangkok, the exotic capital city of Siam, the Tony-award winning musical features ornate sets and costumes and a dazzling score by Rodgers and Hammerstein that will thrill audiences young and old. Stefanie Powers, star of stage, film and TV headlines this sumptuous, new production featuring such memorable songs as “Hello, Young Lovers,” “I Whistle A Happy Tune,” “Shall We Dance?” and “Getting To Know You.” THE KING AND I makes a royal entrance into the Carr Performing Arts Centre October 25 – 30, 2005.

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT with Broadway star Patrick Cassidy as Joseph and “American Idol’s” Amy Adams as the Narrator is a rainbow ride through biblical Egypt on the wings of Andrew Lloyd Webber's (CATS, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, EVITA) uplifting music and the humor and poetry of lyricist Tim Rice (Oscar-winning lyricist of Disney's “Aladdin”). This irresistible musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son, paints a picture of betrayal and hardship, prophecy and forgiveness. Patrick Cassidy, fresh from his Broadway appearance in 42ND STREET, has had a career that spans the world of stage, film and television. With audiences of over 30 million people, the hit show “American Idol” has created a new breed of superstar in Amy Adams. This Joseph cannot be missed at the Carr Performing Arts Center, January 10 - 15, 2006.

A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget! Over 20 million people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show! Writer Catherine Johnson’s sunny, funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The storytelling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, and every night everyone’s having the time of their lives! With more productions playing internationally than any other musical, MAMMA MIA! is the World’s #1 show. MAMMA MIA! dances back into the Carr Performing Arts Centre May 23 – 28, 2006.
