Steve Piscitelli, an Orlando area sculptor, is creating cancer-themed jewelry as well as figurative work for CRAAB (Cancer Relief & Awareness Art Benefit), and is excited about raising cancer awareness with the show. "There is an enormous need to talk and discuss cancer, to remove any stigma and create dialogue in the community about the disease," Steve says. Steve and others at OVAL see their responsibility not only to bring art and community together, but to go further with specific issues such as cancer survival. "Ideally, we want cancer awareness to spread faster than the disease itself."
