"I am experimenting with plaster on wood. The plaster is built up in
layers and textured, then sanded. Sometimes foreign objects are added. I then
apply several layers of acrylic paint, wax crayon and graphite. These new, bold
works are an exploration of texture, color and space, infusing geometry with organic
freedom." - Marla E. Smith |
