Liz Watkins Statement I hate this part; I think my work is my statement. You’ll find a lot of humor in my work, but you’ll also find social issues and statements. I've come to the conclusion that you cannot tell what will sell. I've sold pieces I hated and the ones I think are great just collect dust. Most of my sales have been to other Artist. I've tried painting what I thought would sell and I boy was I wrong. In fact I find it very hard to paint something for someone else. Now I paint what I want, what makes me happy. Any strange, weird or humorous thought that pops in my head or I see on the street. I'm sure it's slanted, but I don’t care.
