My edgy and satirical figurative subjects are presented frozen in social scenes -- they smoke, drink and leer from the canvas, challenging viewers to wonder what they will do next. Some are caught in mid-conversation. All are seductive slices of life. I have developed a personal style that combines expressionist, painterly strokes that are sure and on-target giving my work lots of energy and emotion.
