| Ken Austin is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the Florida Watercolor Society. His work is currently handled by Fogle Fine Art in Jacksonville, Florida - www.foglefineart.com. A watercolor artist for 25 years, his work has hung in many national competitions, is in corporate and private collections from California to New England. His painting "As Evening Falls", in the 2005 Florida Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition was given the "Winslow Homer Award". Ken is the founder of Orlando’s Central Florida Watercolor Society, and teaches classes and workshops all over Florida, as well as in other states from West Virginia to Texas. About his work, Ken says: “I love decorative style, and add my own favorite themes to whatever I paint - strong color, clear shapes, rhythmic pattern and, often, geometrics for cubist references. I hope the visitors to my website will enjoy the breadth and depth of what I'm interested in. I love making art, and I want others to enjoy what I create." |
