"La Vida en La Muerte" is a new series of oil paintings inspired by the debris and alteration of plant life following major storms, hurricanes and tornadoes in tropical settings.The forms undergo a transformation in the artwork that could be described as a "new life." "Ovation" (Giclée print, 16" H X 24" W, 1/X) is part of a new set of Four Collections of original, Limited Edition Giclée, prints. These digital prints are originals--not copies of a work in another medium. Dimensions cited in whole numbers. Each image is a refined study of the Giclée process, ranging from softly blended forms to dramatic compositions of flashing "lens flare" as in "Reflections." "Dew Capsule" (18" H X 20" W) shows the entrance to the artist's studio in a dew drop; the walkway and shrubs are shown in the lower part of the drop. Prints are shipped flat in a hinged mat (4-ply, acid free mat board on foam core backing--Ready to Frame $350.).
