Biography:

Gary Borse has exhibited work in many Chicago, Illinois galleries through 1997 when he moved to Florida. He has participated in many group shows throughout Florida and is in both private and corporate collections.

In 2001, Gary was commissioned to paint two pieces of public art by the Marion Cultural Alliance, for the City of Ocala, Florida's "HORSEFEVER" project.

He participated in the acclaimed Wm Bartram Paintout for Plein Air Painting in the spring of 2003 at Paynes Prairie, in Gainesville, Florida.

Gary was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1950. He received an Associates Degree from The Chicago Academy of Fine Arts in 1970. He is also an accomplished bassist and vocalist, and has performed in rock, jazz, blues, and country music for most of his life.
