Florida born and raised. Artistically, I am adventuring on a new path. One that is exciting and challenging at the same time. The uncertainty can be a bit unnerving at times; however the bigger picture keeps me going. Perserverance and a charming “nothing can keep me down for long” attitude make for a great and exciting future in art.

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I am a self-taught artist. I began painting portraits with pastels when I was 16. I later experimented with acrylic paints and found this was the medium for me. Portraits were only the beginning. Soon I found an interest in decorative art, murals and faux painting. Adding another genre, I have been moving in the direction of painting several series. One of which is of landscapes. (Vibrant & Traditional: Tropical, Vineyards, Tuscan, Surf, Biker, Faux & Stucco, Pets & more.) I experiment with paint effects, some texture and color, or lack there of (Black & White, also Sepia). I find a certain peace in painting in black and white, and also in sepia. . ***

I have shown in “The Lake Mary/ Heathrow Art Festival” and “Maitland Art Show”. In the fall of 2003 I was accepted into the “DeLand Art Museum and Cultural Center” for their juried Biennial. I have a 1-man show coming up at the “DeBary Manor” in January 7, 2005. I am a member of the DeBary Art League, DeLand Art Museum, OVAL, & NMWA.
