| Michael Chatman is a local figurative colorist artist residing in Orlando. Michael studied Art in 1970's and later obtained a degree in Graphic Design from Valencia Community College in 2002. He has shown his artworks at various venues in Orlando and currently serves on the Associates Board of the Maitland Art Center. Artist's Statement: "I like to portray images that are memorable to me and in portraying them I seek to emphasize their shapes and colors. I feel that Art should please the senses and leave the viewer with a feeling of having seen and felt something that has imprinted on them a true and good impression of Art".
